Will You Meditate or Miss Out in 2015?

A new year is upon us, and while my children are back to school, I find myself wondering where the previous year has gone. It seems between all of the coming and going, the emails and text messages, meetings and teleconferences…life somehow slips silently by without so much as a “see ya later”. I don’t know about you, but I for one am committed to make each moment of 2015 memorable.

As a subscriber to my email newsletter, you most likely are interested in wanting to learn more about how you can slow the pace of your life down and still be more, have more, and do more in the New Year. You have most likely considered meditation and might even have a regular practice. You are commited to some sort of spiritual practice in your life. My question to you is this: Are you making the time, right now, to pause or meditate…even if it’s just for 5 minutes?

Methods of meditation are not set in stone. There are no “rules” per se. You don’t have to sit on a yoga mat in a silent room filled with relaxing music and fragrant flowers. Sure, it those would be a nice add on, but if all you have is a short amount of time on your lunch break and the quietest place you can find is the copy room, then go for it! Focus on your breathing and posture, close your eyes and use visualization techniques. pausing for power doesn’t have to be perfect, it simply has to be.

In 2015 I urge you not to miss out on the opportunities for limitless abundance and happiness that come your way. Take time out of your hectic life to sit in stillness every single day. This may sound crazy, but I want you to slow down in order to accelerate your path to living a fulfilled life. Each moment we are given in this life is a gift. Why not treat it as such and lovingly unwrap each moment as if it were precious. Let us cherish these moments, for I have found that they are fleeting. It is in treating each moment as a treasure that we will one day have cumulatively built a life filled with happiness, bliss and abundance.
